

The Kyoto Energy Park Company recognizes the value in community consultation and participation especially during early stages of the project feasibility and community and environmental assessment. Pamada anticipates the overall community and regional benefit of the project to be extensive and of significant value to the area.
The key objectives of Pamada’s consultation and participation strategy are:
A Community Open Day was held during the planning and assessment process of the Environmental Assessment, to give the community further opportunity to comment on the project and provide valuable feedback. This feedback has been assessed and included in the development application under Part 3A.
All comments, issues and concerns raised have been considered during the planning evaluation and overall strategic design stages of the project, and documented in the Environmental Assessment report submitted to the NSW Department of Planning.

Pamada will continue to work closely with surrounding landholders, key stakeholders and the local community in an open and honest manner. Assuming approval for the Kyoto Energy Park is granted, consultation with stakeholders and the wider community will continue throughout the detailed design, construction and operation stages of the project.
